Where is the printed packet sent?
The printed copy isn't on sale yet — this describes how it will work. To the delivery address you give at payment — a separate question from the address that goes on your forms, and never copied from it.
When your purchase includes the printed packet, the payment page asks for a delivery address. That is the address the envelope goes to, and it is the only thing it is used for.
Why we ask again instead of reusing an answer
The address on your forms is the address the agencies will have for you. Where you want an envelope delivered next week is a different question, and for plenty of people the two are not the same — a move in progress, a household in transition, a workplace that is simply easier to receive mail at. Filling one in from the other would be us assuming something about your circumstances that we have no business assuming.
So the two are kept apart. Nothing you typed in the interview is copied into the delivery address, and the delivery address is never written onto a form.
How it is handled
- It is collected by our payment provider on the payment page, not typed into a form on this site.
- It is stored encrypted, used to address one envelope, and never shown back on any page.
- It is destroyed by the same purge that removes your interview answers a year after delivery.
If you spot a mistake in the address after paying, email support@namechangeworks.com quickly and tell us. Once an envelope is with the printer it is on its way.
