We ask for what the forms ask for, minus your Social Security number — we never ask for that one. Your answers are encrypted, never used for anything but filling in your own paperwork, and deleted a year after your kit is first delivered — long enough to redo a form for you if an agency sends it back. The finished documents, which carry those answers, stay in your kit so you can download them again until you ask us to delete them.
- Do I have to have my document already?
- No. If your certified copy is still in the mail, you can still buy the kit and start reading. We’ll tell you exactly what you’re waiting for and how to order it in your state, and everything is ready when it lands.
- Are these the real government forms?
- The SS-5 you get is the Social Security Administration’s own PDF with your answers filled into it. Where a state publishes a specific form, we name it and link it. We never ask you to submit something we invented.
